Conquer Odyssey is a EU-hosted classic server with no P2W, offering only cosmetic rewards for donations.- Classic Experience: Conquer Odyssey is a Classic+ experience implemented on patch 5071 of Conquer Online and is almost feature complete compared to patch 5021. Many non-classic features are disabled to preserve the original experience.
Only classic classes are available, with no Ninja, Pirate, or other later classes. The maximum level is capped at 130, and rebirth is capped at first rebirth. Blessed items are only available as rare monster drops, with no blessed rebirth. Tortoise Gems are unavailable, and Battle Power is disabled in PvP.
CP-based features such as Lottery, UnknownMan, Thought Drills, and similar systems are also absent.- Classic+ Experience / New Events: City Wars lets players fight to control the main cities. Bi-hourly Events offer short events of various types, including casual, skill-based, and equipment-based challenges, where players can earn experience and points.
These include Deathmatch, Domination, Five Out, Last Man Standing, and Maze Race, with Meteor Shower coming soon.- Classic+ Experience / QoL Features: Conquer Odyssey adds Discord account linking and Rich Presence, displays the character name in the task bar, and allows increased client resolution and maximum frame rate through the launcher.
Spawns have been increased based on Retail, while World Chat, ViperFang, and DragonTail have been backported to the 5071 client. Drop notifications are available to everyone without VIP, as is right-click packing of Meteors and DragonBalls. New items such as MeteorBox and DBBox have also been added.
Scatter has a lower level 15 requirement, weapon skills gain experience when using magic skills such as Scatter and Rage, and composition uses a point-based system patched to retain the original math.- Classic+ Experience / Rebalanced PvP: Warriors are designed as tanks, with Shields providing HP.
Taoists receive an indirect buff through exclusive access to Earrings, while every class has both hair-covering and non-covering headgear with plumes and headbands. Archer coats have reduced magic defense, making them less effective than Taoist robes. Archers also have a dedicated PvP alternative through exclusive access to Daggers and a new line skill.
Equipment requirements such as class and strength can no longer be bypassed through the Market. Accessories such as Rings and Boots are currently limited to a maximum level of 120.- About COPS X Emulator: COPS X Emulator is the underlying emulator customized for Conquer Odyssey. Fully written from scratch since 2022, it aims to provide a faithful reference implementation of Conquer Online from patches 5016 through 5071, with the possibility of extending beyond that range.
All algorithms and features are based on Retail and were manually reversed from leaked binaries matching the supported patch range. All scripts and events are likewise based on Retail and were converted from leaked databases, including cq_action, into Lua using a custom transpiler. All datasets are based on Retail as well and are sourced from leaked databases.
