RYL1 Torment Private Server

RYL TORMENT Registration: Open Server Location: EUR Version: 751 EXP Rate: 400x Drops Rate: 400RYL TORMENT039S HISTORYRYL Torment started in september 2007 from version 666 beta.Beta stage lasted until January 2008 when all characters started from wipe.Torment is currently longest running private server in RYL private server history.Most players we had online was 1250+ which is also most players seen in single private server. That was somewhere spring 2008.First and only fame wipe we had, was in january 2009 but that is only wipe so far.I had good support from beginning and couple experienced persons has helped alot to developing this game further.MorbidA helped alot with modifying database, server, website and client antihacks.Xavi2k3 helped mostly with some serverside modifications and antihacks.So far we have developed alot of stuff for Torment that some also become as quotstandardsquot that other servers use also. (in example: quotoffhand weaponsquot)Idea of offhands was crossed in my mind in end of 2007 and it took week or so to produce working solution for quotdagger bugquot.(it may be possible we go back to original weapon system in future once we have working database checks for dagger buggers)My Admin history goes further back in time...My first RYL private server was called TresRYL what was first Public server online for testing...that was somewhere may-june 2006 before RAgeZone had dev forum section for ryl.After that i decided to play some other servers but i noticed that i could make better and then i created server called RYL Scandinavia (RYL Europe).It was also quite popular and i made alot new stuff on it that was not seen in other servers yet.Scandinavia ended for some reasons so i went to do something else for a while...In summer 2007 i decided that i create new server just to see how much there is these days. (i was aware of RYLU dying because of hackers)So i worked RYL Torment and was planning to keep it up like few weeks just to have fun....But i was getting little help and interest to start actually do something about so i ended up with better and better bugfixes and was able to keep game playable without much hackers.January 2008 i decided to rent dedicated server when i got just enough from donations to rent it. I was hosting beta months from home )So far we have tried alot stuff that got removed later...such as:-map 4 (aka ore map)-Battle Lohan (aka sky arena)-map 3 active statues-max level 100-level 5 skills (only in test server)Maybe we are lucky enough to hit 3 years mark in future....I will add here some screenshots from 2006 to 2009.
