StackSub - NO Donation! - L2Tiberius Information:
Tiberius is the newest addition to the ever expanding list of private L2 servers. Plenty of servers are launching as we speak, so why should you choose Tiberius?
We consider ourselves as a server that tries to cater to the needs of the community. We hope to interact with the player community of our server, and improve our server through player suggestions as well as our own observations.
Fair play is one of those things that we hold dear. To ensure this, we don't accept any financial help from our players. Yep, that's true, no donations means that every player can have the same chance to succeed in the game. We are well funded, so donations shouldn't become available at any point.
Our funding also means that our server is stable and long lasting. We have already paid for everything we need to run the server until 2011. Here's some info on our equipment:
Game Server: Processor 2 x xeon 3,4 GHz
RAM 16gb ECC
Harddrive 5x scsi raid 5 +0
Network 1gb/1gb
- Stacked subclasses (as well as "official" ones). This means that you have the access to 2 sets of skill simultaneously! For an example, you can play your paladin, complete the stacksub quest and add a treasure hunter as your second class. What this means is that you can use all the skills of a paladin and a th at the same time. It gives the game an intresting twist, that not only makes the pvp aspect more tactical and challenging, but prolongs the whole gaming experience.
- 10x xp and sp, 7x spoil and 7x quest rates. Many people consider 1x to be way too repetitive, higher multipliers make leveling more swift and intresting.
- No stacking passives for the stacking classes. This removes for an example the crazy attack speeds of mage/fighter types of characters as seen on some stacksub server amongst many other things that result in a more balanced gameplay between the class combinations.
- No "mutant" subs. This means that you can only choose your stacking subclass from the classes of the race of the original class. This removes some overpowered combos from the game.
- No custom tattoos.
- UD won't work at 100% unless the character is wearing heavy armor. This means that there won't be a mage with 3000 pdef, spamming spells and dealing insane amounts of damage while being virtually immortal.
- Community activities. We decided that players should be able to add something of their own to the game. We are currently planning on events (For an example "make your own quest"-event.) that let the players influence directly on the gaming experience.
- Mana potions. Some classes eat through their mana fairly quickly while leveling. A lot of the times you end up spending a lot of your time regenerating mana, specially when soloing. We decided to implement mana potions to reduce the time spent on sitting around. We haven't decided between regenerating or instant mana potions yet, but our aim is to allow the players to survive a bit longer without resorting to sitting around, not creating an unlimited source of mana.
