Custom Travel- Adding Realism, Players have the ability to travel not simply by UO’s bland City Moongate travel system, but by Sea or Land via Avarice’s unique Travel system. Travel rates vary depending on the distance you wish to travel. Visit the main docks in Eddinborough to sail! Or the Travel Cart found in South West Eddinborough to travel by Cart!
Realism- In addition to our more realistic Travel systems, East character must eat and drink lest he will die! Many animals may be milked and water can be drawn from wells to quench one’s thirst. A wholly elaborate Food system has been implemented so many new unique foods can be harvested throughout our rich world and used in a variety of recipes. Players too can grow their own crops (Trees, Plants, and Even Reagents!) Day and night effects also will bolster the realism of our Medieval World! Traveling at night without the taking right precautions is a frightening thing in Avarice. Those brave enough to combat the pitch dark of night rarely do so alone!
Custom Housing- throughout Avarice, players have the ability to live within the confines of various guarded Towns and Cities within our world. After all, setting up your vendor juxtaposed to the Provincian Mage shop may prove a lucrative step for your Crafting Character! Also many intricate and custom house types are available for purchase!
Custom Rule Set- Avarice grants you one character per account (multiple accounts permitted,) for such reasons each character can become a true Renaissance man or woman with the 10k skill cap.
Custom Bloodlines- Upon entering Avarice one must declare fealty to either a Briton or Hibernian ancestry. This choice will weigh greatly on the friends you make and the town you visit! British guards who oversee Provincia do not take too kindly too Hibernians doing business within their city; however, with enough Hibernian friends, you may be able to forcibly loosen their reign over the city…
Blanaced Pvp and Economy- In every way a strong Player Run economy is encouraged! With an abundance of rare items and rich hues, it is likely each player will soon stumble upon their own one-of-a kind rare! PvP is persistently checked and balanced with each new Item or Tamable creature we create. We have been doing this for well over 6 years, we know what we are doing by now!
