Not so long ago and not that far away, in fact just on the other side of a dream, there was a land called Grimmwold. Grimmwold was a land of stories and tales. A land you half forgot upon awakening in the tangled cobwebs of dreams. It was a land of adventure, a land of dreams.
It wasn't an easy land to reach or even an easy land to remember. But those few that voyaged there and returned with memories intact brought back wonderful stories. These men and women brought back tales; tales of brave knights and beautiful maidens, tales of young girls in red who fought terrible wolves, merry old kings and tales of the fairies themselves. They called themselves Dreamers.
As time went on fewer and fewer Dreamers came across the Gate of Horn and Ivory to this wonderful land. The stories grew pale and old. Soon the whole world grew pale and tired, so very pale and so very tired that people thirsted again for a land of adventure and dreams.
Now in a pale and tired time, when sleep is better then white bread and yellow butter, a new generation has found the Gate of Horn and Ivory in their dreams and comes once again to Grimmwold.
Enjoy player and seer driven stories in a vibrant world that is easy to enter and designed to allow players the freedom to craft the world through character driven events. The world is based on a combination of Mythology, Lore and Adult Fairy Tales.
We offer four different races: Human, Otherkin, Shades, Changelings plus advanced races for those here a year. We have a class system with 11 classes, 15 levels each, and custom abilities per level. There are three player run towns: Briar Hollow, Ulster and Hamelin.
NEW Race Options - We have recently released three new cultures; Pirates, Arabian Nights and Gypsies. Now Accepting Applications.
Screen Shots - It is our belief that you will not find a prettier world. We have tons of custom art, including wearables, kitchen craftables and over 100 new trees, not to mention some of the best homes and shops anywhere.
Application - The application process is not complicated, nor do we expect you to write pages and pages of lengthy stories. The world is designed for you to learn the fiction as you play, not try and memorize difficult world history.
Shard Design - This is our third shard. We've learned a lot since we started running shards five years ago. I can say with some pride, that this is our Best Shard yet.
Our server is an active shard full of friendly players who are role-play addicts. The shard regularly has 30+ active on-line and daily player and seer events. We deliver the kind of active friendly community and NON-STOP role-play you've been looking for.

Creative Skill gain system and a viable player economy for crafters.
Account creation through application approval.
